Concrete Nibs provide satisfactory clearance between the exterior and interior ground levels and also the exterior cladding. The minimum height requirement between the bottom of cladding and a concrete driveway/path is 100mm (bottom of cladding to soft ground i.e., lawn is 175mm). Ultimately a concrete nib provides assurance that water should not breach the ground floor of a home.
